Bessie Kingery

Bessie Kingery, 85, passed away Saturday April 18, 2009, at Sunnyview Care Center. Bessie was born on September 3, 1923, to Lyda and Frank Bice in Des Moines.
Bessie is survived by her sons, Larry (Delores), Bill (Linda) and Jerry (Anna) Kingery; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and her sister, Mabel McElvogue. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; son, Earl Jr.; two grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday April 21, 2009, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines; burial will follow in Berwick Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be 6–8 p.m. Monday April 20, 2009, at the funeral home.
