To the Phipps family and friends, I cannot express how saddened I am for you over the loss of Dean. I have spent time with most of you and have seen for myself his love, care and mentoring for you. I weep also.
I've known Dean for almost 40 years. He was one of my most favorite persons of my life. A friend, employee, golf and pool mentor. His eyes always sparkled and he made mine shine too with his smart stories and funny wit. He knew hundreds of people and was always thoughtful to introduce me to each of them. Everyone loved and respected Dean.
I will forever think of Dean, especially the many rounds of golf that I lost to him, while laughing.
I pray I will see him and Ronda again. Thank you, Lord, for my friend Dean Phipps. May God bless and comfort you all.

Dean and I spent many days together playing golf, pool, and cards in the winter time at Blank. He was full of life, full of jokes, and always had that silly smile on his face and we know why. He was like an older brother and I know he will be missed. God bless you old buddy.

Rest In Peace Uncle Dean. Even though we only saw each other & talked a few times over the years, you have always been special to me. My Mom, Bev, your sister, loved you dearly & my Brother Blane enjoyed your friendship so much. I pray the family finds peace in that he was loved by many and will be missed.
