Dear Rosimary, kids and family, We are sorry for the loss you are suffering since David passed away on his journey home. Surely there is much rejoicing in heaven. How glorious to be in the presence of Jesus Christ our Savior! As Dave reunited with our parents, brother, and loved ones there had to be lots of dancing and celebrating. He and brother Bobby can once again buddy up. Their closeness is a precious gift. Dave is an amazing man whom I am proud to call my brother. All our love and prayers forever...

I met Dave back in 1987 when I dated his daughter Angie and married in 1990, after meeting Dave while he was a DMPD Detective he took me under his wing, I learned a lot from Dave, I helped him remodel a couple places and helped him move to Florida, I always looked up to him, I will miss him a lot, he was a great man and would do anything for anyone. I have so many memories that will last forever. Till we meet again I will love and like you.

David was a wonderful man with such a great attitude. I met David years ago when he was police detective and did a ride along on a Saturday into Sunday morning some time after Johnny Gosch was abducted and kidnapped. This was something the police did to protect the paper boys. We had a great time and even got into a police chase. David and I apprehended four young boys out on a joy ride. His dispatcher called the parents of the driver to come pick up the car and boy. Dad was not happy at all. But David handled it like the pro he was. RIP my friend Ill never forget you. David Allen ??

I worked with Dave at DMPD and was a close friend
for over 40 years. He was a proud member of DMPD
and could always be counted on to have your back.
He had a great sense of humor even as illnesses
slowly took his life away. R.I.P. my friend, your
suffering is over. Condolences to Rosie and his family.
