Kenneth Daniel Avery III, age 60, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020.
Kenneth was born April 8, 1960 in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from Saydel High School where he enjoyed playing baseball. Kenneth attended Grace Church and was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 106. He worked for Academy Roofing, Hewitt Trucking, and Rock Communication in Newton. In his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Kenneth (Rebecca) Avery IV, Korey (Sabrina) Avery, Jacob Fast, and Mary Ann Fast; grandson, Kenneth Daniel Avery V; mother of his two oldest sons, Denise (Rick Thomas) Avery; step-father, Richard Ballantini; siblings, Lora (Don) Wyckoff, James Avery, Kim “Sweep” Avery, and Lisa Hobbs; his extended family - the Beebe family; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Avery Jr.; mother, Mary Ballantini; foster mother, Bonnie Beebe; and foster-siblings, Randy, Wanda, and Neil Beebe.
There will be a private family viewing followed by cremation. A celebration of life will be held at Korey’s annual 4th of July party.
