What an inspiration she was, so many things about my mother that are so amazing. To pick a few would be to hard. I love you mom and you will always be in my heart. I will remember your fast come backs, your great sense of humor, your strong will for life, your compassion for others and most of all your strength. I know you are dancing and singing and just in awwh of that amazing place you are, the one that only the rest of us can only dream of. You are with your family drinking coffee and talking about old times and catching up. I know they were waiting for you to join them at the kitchen table. I remember during your long painful struggle your zest for life was so amazing, when times were hard you would say "Don't count me out yet". I could always count on you to make me laugh with your humor. I knew if my day was going bad I could come see you and the laughter would just fill me up and I knew when I left your love and laughter went with me. I will miss our mother and daughter talks, your beautiful hands, your bright blue eyes, your smile, the special birthday cards in the mail with that little bit of your love inside and your passion for life. You have helped me be the women I am today and for that I am grateful. I wish I could have been the women you were, but Mom those shoes were too big for me!! I don't think anyone could have filled those shoes. You always said to me God makes no mistakes, you are right, he made you my mother so I am forever grateful. I love you mom and I will deeply miss your bright smile, laughter and most of all your unconditional love.
My love for you will always be there until the day you welcome me home in your arms!!
I love you so much mom and I will see you again someday.
Your daughter Kimmie

I will always remember the twinkle and fire in Aunt Ruby's eyes. She was an amazing lady who will always be loved and admired. Her sense of humor was subtle but sharp and usually right on. She was never afraid to voice her opinion. She was a master of the art of one-liners just like her mom, her daughter, Debbie and her sisters. I will miss her.
