I've only known Brad 2 or 3 years through my RAGBRAI team "STOP A LOT". I also was fortunate to play pool with him one night a week with some of those same team stop a lot team mates. His laugh was heartwarming and we enjoyed sharing stories about small farm communities in NW Iowa, where we both grew up. My home town was Sioux Rapids Iowa. I barely had a chance to get to know him, but to meet him was to know him. I will miss sharing time with him. God Bless

I spent many early mornings spinning with Brad at the downtown YMCA. It was a pleasure to visit with him. I appreciated him telling me he really did not care for the hot tea I carefully selected. So the next time we stopped by no more tea. ??

Dolores and I have had the honor of calling Brad our friend, from the first day we met because of our dogs and every year after that. All the dinners together and all the random visits, the helping hands for any need, the prompt smile and the joyful laughter. He will be sorely missed. A friend indeed! May he rest in peace!

Brad and I have been friends at Riverfront/Wellmark YMCA. We had many talks about life and the curveballs we are thrown. I know now, Brad, that someone else has bigger plans for you. RIP, dear friend.
