Charla Kaye Harker (Johnson) went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 31, 2020. She was born on January 3, 1964 in Des Moines, Iowa to Robert and Irma Johnson.
Charla attended East High School and raised a family in the Des Moines area. She married Matt Harker and they spent 17 wonderful years together. Charla enjoyed spending time with her family and loved the slots at Prairie Meadows. She had numerous friends and touched the lives of many throughout her life. Charla was always willing to help a friend or family in need and loved her church and being a chaplain.
Charla is survived by her husband, Matt Harker; brothers, John Johnson, Craig (Summer) Jay; children, Jeremy Johnson, Jessica (Brian) Myers, Ashley Mott, Alexandra Bentley. She leaves behind 11 cherished grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; previous husband of 10 years Larry Bentley; siblings, Dennis Altenburg, Paula McNeeley, Robert Johnson II; her daughter, Hope Bentley; mothers-in-law, Mary Johnson and Barb Hostetter; her grandchildren, Lucas Myers and Katalynah Bentley.
