Kelly Rae Davis, age 62, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 at her home in Des Moines surrounded by her loved ones. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 12, 2020 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
Kelly was born June 5, 1957 in Des Moines, Iowa to Larry Ford and Karolyn Fitzgibbon. She graduated from East High School in 1975. Kelly was a jack-of-all-trades and a Tupperware Consultant. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Kelly was an avid baseball fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and loved Mickey Mouse. She was talented at knitting, arts, and crafts. But her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was kind-hearted and would do anything for anybody. She was deeply loved by so many.
Kelly is survived by her sons, Doug Kelly Jr. and Bryan (Teresa) Davis, both of Bondurant; grandchildren, Tanner Smith (Katie Sheesley) of Des Moines, Cassady Kelly (Marcos Hernandez) of Ankeny, and Ethan Kelly of Bondurant; great-grandchildren, Tatum Smith and one on the way; mother, Karolyn Fitzgibbon of Ankeny; siblings, Randy Ford of Des Moines, Sherry (Steve) Davis of Des Moines, Kimberly (Douglas) Duede of Ankeny, and Chrissy (Mike) Kuenkel of Ankeny; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Ford, her grandparents, and many other family members.

I will always remember Kelly as the one "girl" from the ol neighborhood who always stood her ground and seemed to always have a smile on her face. She is home now living a pain free life for all eternity, may GOD bless the family of Kelly Rae Davis
