Perry "Bud" Smith

Perry “Bud” Smith, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Mercy Hospice Johnston. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Runnells Christian Church with burial to follow at Lowman Cemetery.
Bud’s memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 17 years, Pat Smith; three daughters, Cheryl Epton, Mary Kohlhof and Donna (Randy) Hathaway; two step-sons, Steve (Anne) Curtis and Brad (Lori) Curtis; grandchildren, Rob (Roxane) and Richard Kohlhof, Nick and Jared Hathaway, Tonya Eckenrode and Melissa (Joey) Martinez; step-grandchildren, Crystal, Steve, Adam, Courtney, Stephanie, Shelby, Ashley and Abby Curtis; 11 great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruby Phillips and LaNelle Poole.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. SW in Altoona. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice Johnston in loving memory of Bud. Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
