Ellen Kinnaird

Ellen Ann Kinnaird, 93, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020. Private services will be held at Iowa Veterans Cemetery Van Meter, IA at a later date.

Ellen was born on August 4, 1926 to Lera (McCall) and Clifford Ramey in Springfield, Missouri. She was a devoted homemaker and mother to her sons. Ellen most recently lived at Legacy Point in Waukee, and was a member of Westkirk Presbyterian Church in Urbandale.

She is survived by her son, Donnie Thompson; and her daughter-in-law, Margaret Thompson. Ellen was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Captain Martin Kinnaird US Navy Ret; and her son, Steve Thompson.
