Carl Robert Rowland, 50, passed away suddenly on March 10, 2020 at the Lutheran Emergency Room in Des Moines. He was born February 16, 1970 in Des Moines to Carl and Jolene (Doland) Rowland.
Carl was an avid Hawkeyes fan and loved music. His favorite band of all time was Alabama.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sheri; daughter, Lucy; brother, Chad; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be directed to the family.

Hi I was carl GM from burger king and friend I met carl almost 5 years ago...and he was love at our store 10435 we will never forget (carly) as i called him. I am so sorry for your loss and we will keep your family in our prayers.

May God and the angels surround you with love and comfort. Be brave mom You will find your new normal in the days and weeks to come. The days will be a blur but let those that love you help you through these trying times. This is the path I took when my husband died suddenly at age 57 of a heart attack also. Heavenly Father please wrap your arms around this young wife & daughter as they face a future without their beloved husband & daddy! May their precious memories sustain them in the days ahead as you lead them in the direction of your love & wisdom. Cover them with your feathers & protect them from all harm as they take this new path. They are loved & prayed over today by so many they dont know who care!
