Service Details

Myrle Willoughby, 93+, peacefully passed away on February 26, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Services will be held at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway with visitation on Thursday, March 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. and the celebration of life on Friday, March 6 at 12:00 p.m.

Myrle was born May 18, 1926 to John Houston and Ina Cornelius Woody in Delano, CA. After high school, she brought Toni Marie into the world in 1946 with her husband whom she met in high school. After the war, Myrle married Bill Pascoe, Sr. and brought William Otto Pascoe (1949), David Houston Pascoe (1953), and James Allen Pascoe (1954) into the world. She married John R. Willoughby, father of Rebecca Marie Willoughby (1963).

Myrle worked in various careers as a receptionist, salesperson, and as a school nutritionist. She loved her variety of pets, and volunteering at Bellflower Hospital and Meals on Wheels while residing in Prescott, AZ. Myrle enjoyed time spent with her children - watching football, making dinners, and hosting holiday celebrations while making up to 19 pies from scratch. She enjoyed reading, and participating in her grandchildren’s activities by attending numerous sporting and music events.

She will be greatly missed by her loving family, her children, Bill, Dave and Jim Pascoe, and Becky (Steve) Freeman; grandchildren, Josh, Ashley, Daniel and Nate Freeman, Joe (Lisset) Munoz, Cindy (Rob) Austin, and Andy (Steph) Munoz; great-grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Munoz. Myrle was the last surviving member of her immediate family, and was preceded in death by her daughter, Toni Marie (Vince) Munoz and her husband, John Willoughby.
