Mary Smith

Mary Smith, 85, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Bright Kavanagh House. Per her request, her body has been cremated and no services are planned. A private family burial at Elm Grove Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Mary was born May 10, 1923 in Ottawa, Kansas. She worked for LOOK Magazine.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Naomi (Earl) Farnum; brothers, George Christeson, Mearle Christeson and Charles Christeson; sisters, Josephine Maley, Delilah Bennett and Katherine Vostad; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mearle and Esther Christeson; and her husband Donald Smith.
