Icil L. Stafford

Icil Stafford, 103, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny. She was born on June 21, 1905 to Loring and Flossie Garner in Taintor, Iowa.
Icil is survived by her daughter, Pat (Lenny) Van Lent; son, Larry (Glenda) Stafford; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Don; brother, Robie and sister, Glenna.
Icil’s wishes were to be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, Iowa.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Iowa Health Hospice in loving memory of Icil.
