Dorothy Darlene Gorman-Aswegan

Dorothy “Dotty” Gorman-Aswegan, 83, died April 5, 2009 at the Bright Kavanagh House.
Dotty was born May 15, 1925 in Mahaska County to Mary Ann and Milton Harris.
A memorial service will be held April 8, 2009 at 5PM at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. in Des Moines. Visitation will occur one hour prior to the service.
Dotty enjoyed music, dancing, reading, traveling and discussing politics.
Dotty is survived by her husband, Eugene Aswegan; her daughter, Cyndy (Joseph) Cross; her son, Ray Croll; her 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; her step-children, George, Vicky, Eugene, Jr., Cheryl and Tammy.
Dotty is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Raymond George Croll; her 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Memorial contributions may be directed toward The Animal Rescue League or the Bright Kavanagh Hospice House.
