Jeffrey Lee Deaton

Jeffrey "Animal" Deaton, 48, passed away at his home April 3, 2009. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Pkwy. in West Des Moines. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jeffrey was born January 28, 1961 in Des Moines. He was a forklift technician. Jeffrey enjoyed listening to music and playing his drums, NASCAR, carpentry, journaling, playing cards and horseshoes and was a great artist and a trivial "master". He loved animals. Jeffrey fought with cars and was a Ford man.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Bonnie; siblings, Jack (Diana) Deaton, Carolyn Joan Deaton, Janet Deaton, Sharon Deaton, Linda (Steven) Jefferson and John Deaton; his sidekick, Fred; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ada and John Deaton and his brother, James Deaton.
