Gordon Miller

Gordon Miller, 87, died Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born June 30, 1921 in Luvern, Iowa. Gordon was a military policeman at Ft. Des Moines from 1942 to 1945. He worked in various departments of city government for the City of Des Moines for 20 years before his retirement in 1985. Gordon was a member of Grandview Golf Club.
Gordon is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marjorie Miller; sons, Rick (Kim) Miller and Gene (Linda) Miller; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Stewart.
