Welma Stotler

Welma “Tiny” Stotler, 79, passed away Friday, April 3, 2009 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Tiny was born August 30, 1929 in Freeport, Illinois. She moved to Des Moines in 1942. Tiny worked as a nurse’s aide and in housekeeping at Scottish Rite Park for 28 years.
Tiny is survived by her sons, Ivan (Carol) Thompson, Jerry (Aviva) Clark, Jack (Sandra) Clark and David (Kathy) Clark; brothers, Larry and Gilbert Stotler; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Margaret Stotler; sisters, Thelma and Betty; brothers, Dorman, Darrell, Russell, Marrion, Earl, Marvin, Jerry and Paul; her daughter, Pamela Clark; and her longtime companion, Ralph Clark.
