Harold Anderson

Harold William “Andy” Anderson, 78, of Des Moines passed away on March 31, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. He will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. The family will greet friends from 2 PM until service time at the church on Friday. Andy was born on April 25, 1930 on the family farm in Coleman, South Dakota and was a long time resident of Des Moines’ Southside. He was a retired accountant and had been working part time as a night auditor at the La Quinta Inn in West Des Moines. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and enjoyed collecting memorabilia. He is survived by his children Kevin (Erika) Anderson of Denver and Susan (Barry) Reinders of Des Moines, their mother Ardell Anderson, his grandchildren Kyle, Anna and Isla as well as his 2 brothers Erwin (Marcia) and Arlan (Suzie) Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Alvina Anderson, his brother Vernon and daughter Karen Anderson.
