Alea “Patty” Polson, 46, of Des Moines died peacefully on March 28, 2009. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., at the Southside Church of the Nazarene. The family will greet friends from 12 Noon until service time at the church on Thursday.
Patty is survived by her three daughters, Natalie (Ben) Groves, Elizabeth Vasquez and Marlene (Doug) Groves; three sisters, three brothers; and her longtime companion, Ron Polson. Nana, is also survived by the loves of her life, her nine grandchildren, Jessica, Taylor, Jake, Blake, Noah, A.J., Abby, Chloe and Caleb. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Memorial contributions may be made to her family.

Patty I can remember going to your mom's house every Sunday for dinner and you and the family coming over to our house growing up. Every time I would see you we exchanged hugs always made each other feel good to see one another. You will be greatly missed by your family. I have alot a memories to remember in my heart.

Alea - Everytime I saw you you were smiling and had something kind to say. You always liked to tease and play jokes on people. Your smiling face is going to be greatly missed !
