Connie, Jason and Lindsey, please know that you are in our hearts and thoughts.
At times like this is when we feel the distance between Des Moines and Carlsbad, Ca. Cherished are my memories of us as young men growing up in Des Moines, our marriages, birth of our children, the many laughs, joys and sometimes tears of sorrow. These friendship and family memories I(we)hold with loving care in the shared journey to this day.
Butch is now whole, free of pain and joined with many loved ones who have gone before him. I am sure he is embracing Peace as he looks down on us with that beautiful smile he so easily shared with everyone. We celebrate his life and his determination to life each day to the fullest.
With a warm and loving hug to each of you,
Benjamin & Marilyn

I took piano lessons from Speck Redd..as a teenager....Butch was a little kid, I can still see him
coming down the steps, as I sat in the living room waiting for my lesson......I have many fond memories of the Redd home. I was very sorry to hear of your family's loss...I am sure many people have great memories and love for your family.
