Juanita Green

Juanita Green, 90, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center after a valiant fight for many years. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Juanita was born December 23, 1918 in Knoxville, Iowa, the daughter of James and Norma (Cooper) Koopman. She was very involved with Grant Park Christian Church, where she was an active member for over 75 years.
Juanita is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Charlie Green; her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Aileen Green of California and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Howard Koopman.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Grant Park Christian Church in loving memory of Juanita.
