Hak Lovan

Lovan Hak was born in Sonla, Vietnam on March 16, 1917. He passed away on March 27, 2009 in the care of his family in Des Moines, IA. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Saturday at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
He is survived by his wife Sene and his 11 children – Lien Lovan and Binh Lovan of Sonla, Vietnam, Soun of Vientiane, Laos. Youn Phommaxaysy, Ouan Souriyathay, Nam Lovan, Matthew Lovan, Somha Lovan, Chan Sisamouth, Annie Amphonephong and Somvanh Lovan all of Des Moines. He has 29 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
