Jim and Asa, so very sorry for your loss. It was quite a shock when I heard about what happened to Danna. She was my favorite girl cousin growing up. Our grandma helped us stay in contact when we got older. Last time I saw her was in 2008 when I stopped with my family for a short visit at your house on our way back home to Illinois. We stayed in contact by email for a little while but I lost her email a few years ago and now regret that I didn't try harder to get in contact with her again. I will miss her very much. Please know that I have been praying for you guys and for Dana's soul.

Dana you will be missed. You always sent me little notes and messages keeping me up on Asas activities. Even though we were were far away, we were connected. We were long distance sisters connected by marriage/loss. My heart breaks knowing you are gone from this earth but a flicker of joy remains knowing in my heart that you are reunited with your wonderful dad.
Jim and Asa , I am so sorry for your loss. I have no words that can possibly comfort you during this time. Just know my heart and thoughts are with you. Please stay in contact.

I had the privilege of serving as Dana's teacher and coach in her younger life. Later, she served as a member of my school board. Her work ethic, sparkling intellect and sincere personality made her a one-of-a-kind friend. I will miss her. I can never thank her family enough for sharing her time, warmth and light with us. She made such a difference for so many.

So sorry to hear of Dana's passing. She was a great co-worker and valued friend. We appreciated her good sense of humor around the office. Co-workers I have talked to agree that she made compliance less painful and sometimes even fun. She will be missed.
