My deepest sympathies to all of Denise's family. I met Denise in 1995 after her brother, Steve, told me she had miniature dachshund puppies for sale. The puppy I bought was a really smart dog and had natural hunting drive, and she became my first dog to train and show in obedience, agility, earthdog, and dachshund field trials. I've also put titles on several descendants of hers since then and am still training and showing dogs 25 years later, including another descendant of hers. While I just knew Denise briefly, she forever changed my life by selling me that one puppy. I will always remember her because of that. Again, I'm so sorry. I know it's been difficult for Denise the past few years, and I hope it's some comfort to know that she's at peace now.
