I was so impressed with Barb when I first got to know her. She was running errands for you, Chris, when I happened to run into her. She was pregnant at the time and had the 2 little ones, Ruth and the little 2 year old boy you were caring for at the time. I so enjoyed visiting with her, finding out the stories behind these two precious children, the struggles with caring for them, the great and generous heart I heard which I know must have also represented your heart, Christ, as well, being willing to give "father" care to these two. I spoke of your family to others, and then was so saddened by the loss of little Faith, the news of her breast cancer, rejoicing at the healing, then to learn again of this last bout with cancer. My heart goes out to you and your family as you walk through this dark part of the journey with the Lord. Your words of faith at this time of great and deep loss- of choosing to praise God even though it's SO difficult for you all - help us all to know that you will be able to be comforted by our gracious heavenly Father. May this time of sorrow draw you closer than you could imagine to our Lord and to all who know you.
We will be praying for all of you!
In Christ's love,
Karla Ostermann, a SHEEP mom

Deepest sympathy to your whole family. My sister (Tammy Snyder)
introduced me to Barb at their church a long time ago. Tammy kept
me up to date on her story. I loved the way she fought her cancer!
What an inspiration! I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Barb was such a wonderful person to know and one of the biggest encouragers I have ever met! She could find something to laugh at or positive to say even when she was sick and in pain. I will always treasure her big smile and joyful spirit in my memories of knowing her from SHEEP. My prayers are with her husband and children and the rest of her family. ~JudyZ

We knew Barb from the SHEEP home school group there in Iowa, and she became my friend quickly. She loved the music I recorded through our ministry, and so I gave he a couple of CDs, which she enjoyed listening to often. She reached out to me, in my time of uncertainty and pain, when I was undergoing health issues. When she lost her baby daughter 17 months ago, our family was at the viewing at Hamilton's.
Last year in April, our family relocated to the mountains of Colorado. I knew Barb was fighting cancer, and I never forgot about her. She was SO filled with the joy of the Lord, and was such an influence on me.
I am comforted in knowing we will spend eternity in heaven together. I am so sorry for your loss. She was such a beautiful inspiration.
Our deepest sympathies to you all,
The Georgeff Family
