June Forbes was born February 12, 1931 and passed away February 2, 2020 at the age of 88.
June enjoyed playing Bingo and cards. She loved animals especially her four legged fur baby named “Baby”.
June is survived by her brother, Ralph (Jamie) Forbes; and a host of loving friends.
Friends will gather Friday, February 7, 2020 from 2 pm to 3 pm followed by the funeral service at 3 pm at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. June will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League or the American Cancer Society in loving memory of June.

Ive experienced so many emotions since your passing and although I am happy you are no longer suffering, Im sad you are gone. We were the most unlikely of friends but we had an unspoken bond. I miss my best friend, but Im taking solis in the fact that you are finally free! I love you and will never forget you June!

June had so much depth that not many people had the chance to explore. She built the home she resided in most of her life with her hard working hands and loving heart. She worked tirelessly for all that she had. She was very particular in how she wanted things done. She did not hold back with how she felt. If she didnt like something, she would tell you. If you told her you had a bone to pick with her she would say, Well pick it! She was hilarious. She had a good sense of humor and made me laugh daily. She loved listening to Patsy Cline and talking about and showing pictures from the days when she rode motorcycles. I could go on forever about how special she was. She brought so much joy to my family in the few years we spent time with her. She is now receiving the rest and peace she deserves. I love you, June!
