Service Details

Mr. Noun Baccam was born June 5, 1955, died at the age of 64 on January 24, 2020. He was born in Xieng Khoang, Laos, the son of Hoang and Eui Baccam. He was the fifth son from a family of seven.

In Laos, he enrolled in the Lycee de Vientiane. In 1977, he was blessed to have found and married the love of his life, Mrs. Thing Baccam. Good fortune has given them 2 children – Jacqueline, married to Kevin McGill and Jimmy, married to Phut Baccam.

Due to political changes in Laos in 1976, the family migrated to Nong Khai, Thailand as refugees to avoid prosecution. In February 1979, he then moved to Des Moines, Iowa in the United States of America to begin the American dream.

In 1980 he moved his family to Pella, Iowa to pursue a career in welding with Vermeer Manufacturing and retired there in 2017. It was in Pella where he embraced his gift and love for fishing, hunting, and the great outdoors.

Throughout his life, he was passionate in spending his time outdoors, with his friends and family. There was never a stranger to him. Being our heart and soul, he taught us the true meaning of valuing family and friends.
