Jacqueline M. Jacobson

Jacqueline Jacobson, 85, passed away at her home Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2009 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5711 S.W. 9th St. with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with a Rosary at 7 p.m.
Jacqueline was born December 12, 1923 in Des Moines to Charles and Margaret (Reeves) Armstrong. She was manager of the Centralized Administration Group at Northwestern Bell for 35 years. Jacqueline had previously been a member of the Basilica Rosary Society and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, Mercy Guild, Catholic Women’s Organization and Telephone Pioneers.
Jacqueline is survived by her daughter, Christine (Pat) Kirkman; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Armstrong; sister, Gloria Archer; and her husband Edward Jacobson.
