I have so many fond memories of my Uncle "Junior" growing up - and later in life. Reflective of his life, nearly all my memories are of him in service to others. And how he was such a calming influence to the extended Crawford Clan. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Norman, Jenny and the entire family.

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I happened to see his name on the list when I was looking in the Hamilton site for my moms name. I enjoyed all of the time that I spent with Jim & Marie. My parents, Hollie and Mary Smith, also thought very highly of him
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Many fond memories of Jim growing up and as an adult. I always told Jim that parts of his legacy he will leave behind is all the wonderful things he built. Jim was a great teacher and I always learned something from him in every conversation. I feel blessed to have had him as part of my life and will forever remember his advice. In our last conversation he was anxious to meet up with Marie, Gary, Karen and Brenda. His faith was unshakeable.

So sorry to learn of Jim's passing. I worked for Jim in 1976 when he owned and operated "Crawford's Top Shop" where we made formica table tops to be put on the old battleship style desks. Good memories. Friday "Bull sessions", and listening to Country Music on KSO 1460 while we worked, which I assume wasn't Jim's idea, but some of his employee's. Jim was a great man to work for and I always had a tremendous amount of respect for him. I was having issues with my car (1971 Chevy Nova) and he let me bring it over to his house and put it in one of his outbuildings, while we tried to figure out was wrong. I tried to find his house a few years ago, but assumed he had already passed away. I wish I would have known he was still around. I would have loved to talk with him and tell him how much I appreciated him helping me in my time of need. But, praise God, I will see him again in Heaven one day, and I can thank him there. This world has lost another great Christian and Heaven has gained a servant of the living God. Thanks for all you did here on this earth Jim. Be at peace now. See you soon!

We can't imagine anyone other than Jim living next door to us. Since the day he moved into their home Marie and Jim were the best neighbors anyone could ever have. He was our "Wilson", except with a chain link fence instead of a picket fence. We were blessed to call him our brother in Christ, friend, and neighbor. There are not enough words to truly express how much we will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. With love, Dave and Deb Coldwell and family.
