Lloyd Frederick Stump, 56, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020.
Lloyd was born January 5, 1963 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of James Lloyd Stump and Margery Maxine (Swails) Stump. He proudly served in the United States Army and worked in the custodial department for Des Moines Public Schools. Lloyd had a great sense of humor and was dearly loved by all his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; sisters, Joan and Mary; brother, John; three step-children; six grandchildren; and numerous friends.
There will be a memorial service at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Family will greet guests one hour before the service.

I met Lloyd years ago and have many many hours with him gaming and visiting. My condolences to Linda and all the family. He will be missed.

Everyone that knew Lloyd, knows what a big heart he had, I fear no words of mine could console the grief we all feel for his departing. I pray to our Heavenly Father that he assuage our anguish, and leave only our cherished memories of such a fine man.
