Juanita L. Adams

Juanita Lucille (Twist) Adams was born July 12, 1932 in Des Moines, Iowa to Cecil and Mary Kern. She passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2020 surrounded by her family at the age of 87.

She is survived by her children, Steve (Lois) Twist, Sr., Stuart (Sharon) Twist, Shari (Dean) Stuhr; grandchildren, Steve (Tina) Twist, Jr., Johnny (Shannon) Twist, Emily Twist, Noah Twist, Kelly Stuhr, Holly (Brian) Taylor, Heidi (Brant) Sharp, Alli (Mike) Joseph; and ten great-grandchildren. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; and her parents, Cecil and Mary Kern.

Services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m., and a luncheon after the service. Burial will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
