Judith "Judy" Ann Stice

Judith “Judy” Ann Stice, 79, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. She was born June 9, 1940, an only child to Carl and Lucille Bruhn in Estherville, Iowa. Judy grew up in Spirit Lake and was a long distance telephone operator for AT&T Telephone Co. from 1959 to 1991. She was a member of the Eastern Polk Quilt Guild. Judy loved to quilt, cook, travel, and socialize playing cards and games. Above all, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren and her cats.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Heather (Casey) Clement of Pleasant Hill; and her grandchildren, Natalie and Nathan. She was preceded in death by her parents; and beloved husband, Dick Stice in 2012.

A memorial visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines.
