John Franklin Cox

John Franklin Cox, 66, passed away December 29, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. He was born April 22, 1953 in Des Moines to Kenneth and Betty Lou Cox. John was raised in the household of Dean and Ann Cox, uncle and aunt.

John was an East High Graduate and loved fishing, reading, jigsaw puzzles and computer games.

He is survived by his family, Edward A. (Susie) Cox, Becky Cox, Sheila (Tom) Staubus and other loving family members.

John is preceded in death by his brother, Douglas F. Cox; his grandparents, parents, aunt and uncle.

John’s family is grateful for his excellent care at University Park Nursing and Rehab, Des Moines.

No services are planned at this time and memorials can be directed to Hope Ministries Door of Faith, Des Moines or University Park Nursing and Rehab Resident Fund, Des Moines.
