Corles "Corky" M. Spring

Corles Michael Spring, age 73, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Corky was born April 2, 1946 in Dexter, Iowa to Corles and Lena Spring. He graduated from Dexfield High School. Corky worked for most of his career as a route driver for Aramark in Des Moines, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, muscle cars - especially his ’67 GTO, and his dogs.

Corky is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sherry; his children, Lisa (John), Brian, and Lenae (Steve); grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Breanna, Chloe, Mariah, and Devin; great-grandson, Teagan; sister, Judith; and other extended family and friends.

There will be a memorial visitation from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation.
