Pablo Oviedo

Pablo Oviedo, 83, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family.

Pablo was born June 29, 1936 in Bocas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Hilario and Teofila Oviedo. He loved to traveling, listening to music, gardening, nature, and flowers. He was proud of his family and was a hard worker.

He is survived by his children: Rosario Oviedo, Cristobal Oviedo, Paulina Obiedo, Liliana Oviedo, Remigio Oviedo, and Everardo Oviedo; grandchildren: Minerva, Loreley, Ricardo, Cristobal, Brandon, Issac, Kevin, Iris, Demetrio, Miriam, Luz, Enya, Ruby, Rafael, Baby, Pablo, Everardo, and Emir; and his sister, Cruz Oviedo.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2020 at Our Lady of the Americas Catholic Church, 1271 East 9th Street, Des Moines with burial at Oralabor Cemetery in Ankeny.
