Amara Zoe Richards

Amara Zoe Richards was born October 22, 2019 and passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 19, 2019.

From the very beginning, she was such a happy content baby, who was always smiling. She had just started making noises and eye contact, becoming alert to the people around her. She knew when her picture was going to be taken and she would strike a little pose. She was so active and always moving around. She loved her head being rubbed and loved to cuddle. Amara liked the feeling of water running on her head, but hated bath time and would let you know it! She was cherished by everyone and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She will be forever missed and loved by her mommy and daddy, Julie Daniels and Victor Richards; grandparents, Joseph Daniels, Netta Graves, Jessica O’Connor, and Mary Gaye; great-grandparents, Mike and Donell O’Connor; and her aunts, Small Gaye and Danielle O’Connor.

Services will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines on Thursday, January 2, 2020. Visitation will begin at 10AM, followed by funeral service at 11AM. Burial will take place at Glendale Cemetery with a reception to follow at the funeral home.
