Cleta Watson, age 94, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Ramsey Village in Des Moines. Cleta was born the daughter of Mike and Alice O’Connell on February 4, 1925 in Yale, Iowa.

Cleta worked in the dietary department for the Central National Bank. She ran the cafeteria and was known as a fantastic cook by many. Cleta was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Some of her hobbies and interests included, listening and dancing to music and playing Bingo. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughters, Diana (Frank) Reichenbacker and Donna Schaffer; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cleta was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Leo E. Watson; and her seven siblings.

Celebration of Cleta’s Life will be held at a later date.
