Stephen Lee "Steve" Burner

Steve Burner, 65, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2019, due to complications of diabetes and kidney failure. He was born October 26, 1954, in Tulsa, OK to Rex and Patricia Burner.
Prior to retiring as an over-the-road truck driver, Steve was employed by Goodrich Aerospace in West Des Moines, Iowa. He was an avid sports fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Iowa Hawkeyes, and Clemson Tigers.
Steve leaves behind his wife, Pam and her son, Max Wharff (Hanna) and their children, Noah, Gemma, and Cooper due in January, as well as Pam’s daughter, Molly Wharff (Tony Rhoads) and their children, Brody and Brayden. He is also survived by his mother, Patricia Burner of Irving, TX; siblings, Frank (Kathy) Burner, Venecia Burner, and Cliff Burner all of TX; Pam’s sisters, Sandy Jones and Kris Henkels; his two rescued pups, Sparky and Baby; as well as six children from a previous marriage.
