Aiden James Bothwell, age 12, Superhero Warrior, passed away peacefully under hospice care, after a courageous battle with a defective heart on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.
Aiden was born July 11, 2007 in Des Moines, Iowa. He had a great sense of humor and he loved playing with his brothers. He was always helpful to anyone in need, and whenever he went to anyone’s home, he was happy to open the refrigerator and help them to eat all their food. He had no problem speaking his mind and was always in charge. He was the boss! But deep down, he was a gentle giant.
Aiden is lovingly remembered by his mom, Sydney Cooper; his brothers, Konner, Kaidence, and Brennen; his auntie, Kinzie (Aunt Boom); his cousins, Natalee and Ava; and his grandparents, Vince & Sharon, and Renee. Aiden was a sweetheart and was loved by all who knew him. He will also be missed by his “daddies”, Don Curtis and Seth Strable, who loved him like a son; and his “grandparents”, Tonia, and Papa & Pegs Curtis.
There will be a celebration of Aiden’s life at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines, on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Aiden.
