NaDean Taylor, 83, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

NaDean was born November 16, 1936 in Harrison County City of Woodbine, the daughter of William Thomas Taylor and Opal Fern (Nelson) Taylor. She attended Westmar College. NaDean worked at Broadlawns from 1976 to 2001 as a data entry clerk. Prior to working at Broadlawns she worked at the Drake bookstore.

She enjoyed knitting Christmas stockings for others and was an avid collector and reader. She loved spending time with all the nieces and nephews as they were growing up. Above all, she was a woman of great faith.

NaDean is survived by her brother, James (Donna) Taylor; nieces, Sandy Arnett, Jeanne (Rich) Johnson, Rhonda Bloss, and Ginger Taylor; nephews, Skeeter Taylor and Tom Taylor; many great and great-great nephews and nieces; 1 great-great great nephew; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Floyd Taylor and Jack Taylor; sisters, Cleota Jordan and Willacine Taylor.

The family wishes to thank Unity Point Hospice, Home Instead, Dr. Behrens and Tracy Sarin for their wonderful care of NaDean.
