Elva Mae Hodges

Elva Mae Hodges went to be with her Lord and Saviour December 2, 2019 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born March 5, 1928 to Harvey and Lettie Atkinson and was the 7th of 8 children. Elva married Harold Hodges June 21, 1945 and celebrated 72 years before his passing September 2017.

Elva was preceded in death by her son Steven, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by Janet Hancock (Russell), Rocky Hodges (Rebecca), 6 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 and one on the way great great-grandchildren.

Elva will be remembered as the most loving mom and prayer warrior. She loved to cook, serve, and was an award winning craft maker.

Services will be at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens with visitation 6 P.M. to 8 P. M. December 13. Funeral services December 14th at 11 A.M. with burial in Redfield, Iowa. Pastor Dan McCoy from First Baptist Church will be conducting services.
