Deanna Mills, 82, passed away November 21, 2019 at Edencrest at Riverwoods.
Deanna was born May 9, 1937 in Des Moines to Frank and Mildred Wilcox. She had worked for Fox Printing and Avis Rental Cars part-time but was a homemaker most of her life and took great pride in her family. Deanna loved taking care of her dog Joey. She also enjoyed camping.
Deanna is survived by her children, Michael (Patty) Mills, Michelle Yost and Melissa (Doug) Cash; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Mills; and two brothers.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2019 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.

Aunt Deanna was such a special woman! Feisty and fierce, she always spoke her mind and you knew where you stood with her. She had a wicked sense of humor and always made us laugh. That's what I will remember most, her grin, the twinkle in her eyes and the way her laugh brightened my time with her. A toast to you Aunt Deanna, love and laughter. Now get the party started up there!
