Robert "Mike" Burns

Mike, 72, passed away at home on November 15, 2019 due to cancer. He will be cremated. A memorial service will be at Harvest Assembly, 509 Hwy 69, Huxley, on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Van Meter at 2:00 p.m.

Mike is survived by his wife of 50 years Suzanne “Sue” Burns, daughter Tammy (Rex) Munday, son Jeff Burns, 4 grandchildren: Amber (Bill) Wiseman, Chad Hays, Trisha (Jake) Gudde, and Sean (Alli) Daugherty, 7 great-grandchildren, and brother Pat Burns. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Maxine Burns.
