Michael French

Michael French was born August 9, 1951 in El Dorado, Kansas. He died on November 13, 2019 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Michael leaves behind his loving wife Sonja, daughter Andrea, son Matthew, grandchildren Devon and Aurianna, siblings Brenda Farmer, Rick French and Tim French, three aunts and a slew of cousins.

Twenty years as a Federal Meat Inspector required him to move his family around Kansas then to Omaha, Nebraska and finally to Des Moines, Iowa. Michael gave up being a meat inspector when the next move would have caused him to leave part of his family behind.

It did not matter if you were friend or family – you could tell how Michael felt about you by all the little things he did and the laughter and joy he tried to bring to your life.

There will be no formal funeral services held at this time.
