Janice Kay Butterfield
Of Des Moines, Iowa
Janice Kay Butterfield, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Janice was born the daughter of John and Marjorie Foddrill on December 17, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa. She enjoyed crafts, making dolls and sewing. Above all else, she cherished time spent with family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Tim Butterfield; children, Amy Engstrom, Jerry Rosenbalm and Robby (Molly) Rosenbalm; grandchildren, Devyan Thompson, Michael Crew, Angie Rosenbalm, Jessica Davlia, Dalton Rosenbalm, Jonathon Rosenbalm, Keaton Rosenbalm and William Rosenbalm; great-grandchildren, Ashlynd, Dakota, Korbyn, Daniel, Hailey and Ryder; and brother, John Foddrill.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Gary and Tommy Foddrill.
Celebration of Janice’s Life will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church, 112 County Line Rd, Des Moines, Iowa, 50320.

I have many happy memories of Jan, over more than 25 years of online and phone conversations and mail exchanges. She was such a caring and creative person. I remember those beautiful dolls she created! Family meant so much to her. She will be greatly missed. My sympathy to Tim and all the children.
