Duong Tang

It is with the saddest regret and deepest sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mrs. Duong Tang (Dharma Name: Quang Hue), 84, on October 31, 2019 in Des Moines, Iowa, United States of America. Services will be held at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines, IA with visitation on Thursday, November 7 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. (4:00 p.m. Buddhist Traditional Service), and the funeral service on Friday, November 8 with viewing and visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Funeral Service in Buddhist Tradition from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., moving to the grave site at 11:30 a.m., burial service at 12:30 p.m. at Glendale Cemetery, 4909 University in Des Moines.

Mrs. Duong Tang was born on August 7, 1935 in Guangdong Province, China. She was a devoted homemaker and treasured her family. She came to America to watch her grandchildren grow up. Duong was full of energy and a loving person. She was devoted to her family.

She will be greatly missed by her 7 unique daughters, Linh Hue Mach (Tuong Hieu Huynh), Di Hue Mach, Phung Hue Mach, Kelly Mach, Heidi Thuong Mach (Hung Vu Pham), Lily Mach (Tho Kiet Dam) and Le Gia Mach; grandchildren, Hao The Huynh (Phuong Ngoc Tran), Lan Khai Huynh (Nam Huynh), Van Buu Huynh (Minh Nhat Phan), Luong Tran, Andy Tran, Austin Tran, An Nha Dang, Luan Tuoc Dang (An Gia Diep), But Peggie, Tam Cat Pham, San Thuy Pham, Julia Dam, Jordan Dam, Joanna Dam; grandson-in-law, Minh Phan; great-grandchildren, Vi Dang Juynh, Chi Kim Huynh, and Ky Nha Nguyen.

Duong was preceded in death by her husband, To Mach.
