Michael L. Leydens, Sr.

Michael Lee Leydens, Sr., 67, passed away October 29, 2019 at his home from complications of cancer. No services are planned at this time.

Michael was born March 15, 1952 in Oskaloosa, Iowa to Andrew Leydens and Josephine McGee. He served in the United States Army. Michael was a truck driver for Villirillo Gardens. He was ornery and enjoyed fishing and his dogs, Rambo and Rocky. Michael loved candy and also ice cream with chocolate syrup.

Michael is survived by his wife, Kathy; 14 children, Carrie Hansen, Heather (Chad) Furr, Michael (Jenny) Leydens, Jr., Ashley (Lino) Landeros, Jennifer Gray, Paul (Kelly) Leydens, Aimee (Rick) Newcomb and Jesseca Robertson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Rick Leydens (Sheryl); and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Peggy Smith.
