I met Joanne where I work, Mom's Meals. She and I were on the part-time team together, before I moved to another department.
We sat next to each other and became friends. She is such a sweet, caring, and giving person.
She knew I was struggling with weight and gave me her air fryer so that I could maybe cook some more healthy options.
That's the kind of heart she had.
I was floored and devastated by the news of her passing, but I know she is in Heaven, and that helps.
I miss you a lot, sweet friend, and I'm thankful for your friendship and warmth.

Joanne had such a great laugh! We shared a cabin at UPBC women's retreat one year and she was laughing in the shower and when she came out she said "I am so glad I didn't drop the soap! I don't think I would have had room to bend down and get it!" (the shower was very small) We laughed about that for a long time. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family, I am sure you all know how much she loved you and what a comfort to know that we will see her again in heaven!
