Michael “Mike” Malloy, 54, passed away October 24, 2019 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Mike was born December 27, 1964 in Des Moines to Robert and Karen Malloy. He worked for Youth Homes of Mid America and previously for Walmart. Mike was an avid Bears fan and loved Batman. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
Mike is survived by his children, Andrea (Jay) Logsdon, Jimmy (Peng Peng) Wessel and Chad (Kara) Wessel; grandchildren, Casen, Charlee, Caden, Julien and Ripley; siblings, Bobby Malloy, Robin Malloy, Pat (Heather) Malloy and a host of extended family and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughters, Ashley and Angel.
Celebration of life will be held at 2547 93rd Avenue, Norwalk, Iowa, 50211 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family in memory of Mike.

Worked with Mike at Walmart for several years....a good guy that always kept folks laughing. Sorry to hear hes left us so soon. Prayers to family & friends ????

Worked with Mike for many years.He always made me laugh and had a smile on his face. I know that his grandchildren where his pride and joy. God Bless him and to his family. He will be missed.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I was a good friend of his brother Pat when we were in school and got to know Mike and the rest of the Malloy family as well. Mike always made me feel right at home with their family.
